Flair Espresso machine

Being a full espresso fiend, my longing for a perfect espresso never ends. I’m usually happy with the $ 5,000 + machines where I come from where my cafe is shot, but finding anywhere near that quality at home has always been a challenge.

Indeed, at times, I was impressed by my success while working with my simple Bialetti Mokka Pot stovetop or the GROSCHE stovetop espresso coffee maker machine 2020.

At first I liked Flair as a portable espresso maker for camping, and maybe with a camp van, but it quickly found a home in my kitchen corner and has never moved since.

Pulling an espresso gun with Flair is a chore at first, but it only takes somewhere between three to five minutes.

If you are used to using any type of espresso machine or pot, you will pick it up immediately. The first piece of advice I will give you is that investing in a burr grinder will make your life with Flair much better, with your reasons more consistent.

I read this bitterly: I started with a standard blade grinder, grinded my beans too much, and found that I could not make the machine run smoothly. I pulled a little, and then I got stronger, thinking I could open it.

At one point I decided, out of curiosity, to put the balance of my body weight on an object, where the copper-colored part of the tent was shortened. If I had read the instruction manual or a small warning sticker on the machine, I would have noticed that half my body weight was a contraption limit easily and was more than the pressure needed to pull a good gun anyway.

Ever since I got the replacement part, I have been a little cautious, and in the end, the problem was that sometimes I would grind my beans very well, preventing me from pulling the trigger. Suffice it to say that investing in a burr grinder was a great step forward.

The most unique thing about Flair is that it comes with an available brewing head, which you can also buy separately, so if you are pulling a few people with a gun, you can place them without cleaning and touching between pulls. - Owen Burke

Pros: It's expensive, it produces a thick, creamy gun, easy to clean, looks good on the counter

Consumer: It can be a little painful to reload if you make more than one espresso (but this will be the case under any one-cup espresso machine)
